Chistopher has regularly exhibited locally, nationally and internationally over the past three decades. Represented by Mummery and Schnelle, London, his work can be seen in public collections including those of East Sussex County Council, the University of Brighton, Humberside County Council, the Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne, the British Government Art Collection and the Zabludowicz Collection.
Christopher has also worked as a lecturer and educator (currently head of BA Fine Art Painting, University of Brighton) writing and delivering courses in numerous institutions and galleries that have included the National Portrait Gallery and Wallace Collection, given lectures at the ICA and Whitechapel Art Galleries, and for the Indian High Commission in London. In addition he has worked as an artists’ mentor and independent arts consultant (Arts Council England) working with artists in urban regeneration initiatives across the South East. Christopher has recently been appointed a trustee of Artists Open Houses, Brighton.
